Rise of STD

Dating app such as Tinder is being blamed for the rise of STD. According to Rhode Island’s Department of Health an increase rate of sexually transmitted diseases or STD. In Rhode Island’s data, Syphilis cases rise by 79 % not to mention HIV infections & also gonorrhea cases which dramatically increase to  33% & 30%. Most in the ages of 15 and 24 were most likely at risk. Majority of Tinder users are young, between 18 and 24.  People this days are using social media to meet their sexual desires.

The United States is one of the top countries subscribe to Tinder. With over a million members since 2014 & growing. It is also reported that majority of the users are not single & men. Even the sexually transmitted diseases like syphilis and gonorrhea are curable but can create huge stress in both men and women. A sexually active person engaging in multiple partners without protection is considered at risk of acquiring HIV.
